PORTER, IN - Indiana Dunes National Park is open for business! The park is looking for service providers for Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA), to provide appropriate business services for visitors. In 2021 alone roughly five million visitors came to the Indiana Dunes.
The National Park Service is currently accepting applications for businesses offering approved services at Indiana Dunes National Park like guided hikes, overnight backpacking and camping trips, photography lessons, instructional classes at our beautiful Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk classroom, even guided kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boat tours, and mobile food trucks at various park locations.
Have a business service idea that would benefit our visitors? Propose it. The park will review and consider your proposal. Depending on the type of service offered, there may be some requirements, such as having insurance, and following federal, state, and local food handling ordinances.
