Chesterton Art Center is a vibrant hub of artistic and cultural activity in the Duneland area. CAC widens access to art, arts education, and outreach while expanding our mission’s impact and building a creative community that includes everyone. Located in downtown Chesterton, the Center has two main exhibition galleries, two classrooms, a member exhibition gallery, and an artisan gift store.
Emerging and established artists, as well as regional artists and artisan groups, are represented in the rotating exhibitions in the main galleries. There are also art classes and workshops for all ages in the education center.
Center hours are Monday-Friday, 11 AM-4 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM-2 PM. Closed Sunday.
The annual Chesterton Art Fair, the CACs largest event, is the first full weekend of August. The two-day juried art fair features artists from all over the country, live music, regional food options, and family art activities. Located in Dogwood Park, 1415 S. 23rd Street in Chesterton.
