Welcome to Duneland Pottery – Where Art Meets Purpose
Located in the heart of the Chesterton Arts District, Duneland Pottery is the working studio and gallery of local artist and owner, David L. Arreola.

Meet the Artist
Hi, I’m David – potter, painter, and curator. At the core of my work is the belief that function and beauty are not separate, but partners in everyday life. Every handmade piece I create carries a story: of touch, intention, and the unique moment in which it was made.
Rooted in tradition but guided by individuality, my pottery invites you to slow down, connect, and appreciate the quiet beauty of the handmade. Beyond the wheel, I’m deeply passionate about fostering a space for creativity, community, and meaningful connection.
About the Studio
Duneland Pottery is a welcoming, working studio supported by a community of independent ceramic artists. Whether you're just starting or continuing your journey in clay, our studio offers hands-on opportunities to explore, learn, and create.
Try your hand at hand-building techniques or get centered on one of our professional-grade pottery wheels. Our space is designed for exploration, growth, and inspiration.
