Many people who live in the area don’t realize that Beachwalk is not only a neighborhood, but a community that offers weekly, as well as weekend, vacation rentals. It is just an hour from Chicago and right across from Lake Michigan and the beach. Beachwalk makes a great vacation or a great STAY-cation.

What they offer: Dozens of homes are available for rent. On premise they also have a tennis court, basketball and beach volleyball, golf cart and bicycle rentals, swimming pool, playground, small lake for fishing and rowing — and of course they are located right across the street from Lake Michigan and the beach.
How many days do you need to rent? Throughout the winter months there is just a 2-night minimum, during the summer you do need to rent for the full week for many of the houses. Things fill up fast in the summer months, so if you are thinking of renting during that time, they suggest you book ahead.
