Fur Ball

In its third year, the Fur Ball is the Michiana Humane Society’s fall fundraiser that provides much needed operating funds for the coming year. It also raises awareness of the valuable contributions the shelter makes within the greater community. Held at the spectacular White Oak Farm Venue in Michigan City on October 18th, this event is designed to be a fun time for a serious cause. The theme combines disco with country-western and the 300 (sell-out!) guests add personal flair by dressing the part.

Open bar, heavy apps, DJ and dancing, plus exciting live and silent auctions, raffle and paddle raise cap off the event and contribute to the funds raised through corporate and individual sponsorship and program advertising. Find out more about being a sponsor here.

IMPACT OF DONATIONS

The importance of success for the 2026 Fur Ball can’t be overstated, funds raised through donations & events like this accounted for nearly 90% of our income last year. And, the dollars raised from last year’s auction and raffle amounted to roughly one-third of our total event income. Donate here!
