Meet Stephen Lehman! Stephen is a Michigan City based Pastor/Photographer. He enjoys landscape photography, nightscapes, and candid portraiture. His love for adventure and nature fuels his passion to capture each of those moments. He loves the south shore area and hopes that others can discover it’s beauty through his photography. Stephen will be helping me update my trails and beaches section with write-ups and his beautiful photos.
What brought you to the dunes? I moved to Michigan City, IN after receiving a job as Youth Pastor at Faith City Assembly of God
How long did you live here? I moved here in October of 2013, so almost 2 years
What is your favorite thing to do in the area? I love spending time at any of the numerous beautiful beaches, especially during sunset.
Tell us a secret about the dunes. If you find a tucked away place, it’s really easy to disappear in the dunes. It can be one of the best places to retreat to when you need to get away.
Give us your top three “hidden treasures” (restaurant, shop, trail, beach, event…really anything!)
What would you like to teach people about the dunes? I want people to know that there is no other place in the world that is like the dunes. Being in the dunes makes you feel like you’re not in Indiana anymore.
