The Waxi Taxi’s owner operator, Jeny Burkhart, has performed body waxing at spas, salons and independently for over 20+ years, and is a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Indiana. After graduating Lowell Beauty College, Jeny attained certificates in skin care from the Conservatory of Esthetics. She has also been trained at Syd Simon in make-up artistry and in waxing by the GiGi Honey Company.
In the past, Jeny has worked at House of Bianco Salon and Day Spa, as well as J. Nicole Salon. She has been independent for the last 15 years. She has trained both estheticians and cosmetologists in the art of body waxing along with other spa services.
Brandy has been working with The Waxi Taxi since July 2019. She received Esthetic training through Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. After graduating early at the top of her class, Brandy apprenticed with Jeny for 2 months before taking on her own clients. With previous experience in retail and customer service, Brandy is a natural working with people. Brandy heads our Michigan City location, but also sees clients in our Chesterton location. She is also available for on location services. Brandy upholds our reputation for professional, detailed and quality service.
