Waves of Laughter comedy show returns to Michigan City this month.

Dig the Dunes and Colleen Brennan have teamed up once again this year to bring you their sixth Waves of Laughter Stand Up Comedy Show. The show will take place on Saturday, November 19 at 8pm at Uptown Social in Michigan City.

Colleen recently appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show

Comedian, producer and podcast host (Defending Indiana), Colleen Brennan, brings in some of the best acts from the Chicagoland area. Colleen was recently seen on the Kelly Clarkson show alongside Jay Leno with her comedy group Bad Moms of Comedy. This year she welcomes Mike Hover, Janice V. Rodriguez, Laura Hugg and Headliner, Marz Timms. Marz is an internationally known actor/comedian who has headlined the Milwaukee Comedy Festival and was recently featured in the NBC, Universal Television “Break Out Festival” at Second City in Chicago. New this year is a local guest comedian. Joe White. Joe was chosen out of a number of video clips that were submitted through the Dig the Dunes website and facebook page.

Colleen is excited for this year and loves that the show falls the Saturday before Thanksgiving. “I love coming back to Indiana and seeing family and friends at the show. It’s such a pleasure to bring the best comedians to my hometown and show Michigan City the love it deserves.”

Uptown Social chose to sell tickets in this “cabaret style” to give the show more of a comedy nightclub feel. Doors will open at 7pm and drink service will be available before and during the show.

Dig the Dunes puts on a number of events each year and this is one of the favorites. “This show never disappoints” said founder Eve Wierzbicki, “The comedians always love the venue and it’s great for them to come out and do their act to a sold out show. I’m really happy about bringing a local comedian in this year too, especially since promoting local is a big part of our mission.”

Uptown Social is located at 907 Franklin Street in Michigan City. Tickets can be purchased here.
