Every fall, thousands of sandhill cranes make a stopover at Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area in Indiana. As dusk sets in, the birds arrive by the hundreds, their calls filling the air as they settle into the fields. It’s one of nature’s most awe-inspiring shows — and Dig the Dunes wants to take you there to see it!
Saturday, November 15th, hop on the bus with us and enjoy a stress-free afternoon and evening with friends, snacks, raffles, a goodie bag, and plenty of good company. No need to worry about the drive or where to park, we’ll handle all the details. You just sit back, relax, and get ready to witness a migration that people travel from all over the state to see.

And if you’d like to make a day of it, we’ve got you covered. Before heading to the cranes, you can choose the option to have lunch and cocktails at Journeyman Distillery in Valparaiso. (otherwise you'll just grab the bus there).
Don’t forget to bring a jacket, binoculars, or a camera!
Seats are limited, so be sure to grab your ticket soon. Whether you join us just for the sandhill cranes or make it a full-day adventure with Journeyman, this is one of those experiences you’ll never forget.
