Illegal Smiles at Uptown Social – May 17

Music lovers won’t want to miss Illegal Smiles, a night dedicated to the music of the legendary John Prine. Hosted at Uptown Social in Michigan City this May, the event will feature talented local musicians paying tribute to Prine’s storytelling and soulful folk sound. Dig the Dunes Beer Runs – April through October

If you love a good run (or just a good beer), the Dig the Dunes Beer Runs are back and bigger than ever! Taking place from April through October, these fun runs are perfect for runners and walkers of all levels. Participants will hit the scenic trails of the dunes before heading to a local brewery or taproom to enjoy a well-earned craft beer. Even better, this year’s Beer Runs are giving back—proceeds will support Giant Paw Prints, Michiana Humane Society, and Lakeshore Paws, three organizations dedicated to helping animals in need.
