Ken Dawgs is thrilled to be serving up iconic Chicago-style eats right at the Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk concession, part of the beautiful Indiana Dunes National Park. Inspired by classic hot dog stands on the Southwest Side of Chicago, Ken Dawgs started in 2022 as a small push cart and is now proud to be serving near the shores of Lake Michigan. Whether you're here for a beach day, a hike along the trails, or just to soak in the lakefront views, we’re excited to be part of your Dunes adventure.

We’re open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (weather permitting), with hopes to stay open later for those picture-perfect sunsets. On the menu: the legendary Chicago Dawg, the signature Ken Dawg (a Tom Tom tamale nestled in a steamed bun sliced in half with a hot dog in the middle and topped with chili, cheese, and onions), chili cheese dogs, Polish sausage, beef Tom Tom tamales, and mouth watering Italian beef sandwiches. Cool off with pop, water, or Gatorade and grab a quick snack like chips, trail mix, candy or fuel bars.
