Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant

If you are looking for a fine dining experience or just a relaxing place to spend your weekend, visit Tabor Hill. Our wine tasting bar is open every day. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Friday – Sunday.

The original Tabor Hill vineyard was planted with 27 different grape varieties in 1968. One year later, a wine cellar was placed deep in the side of a hill and the winery was constructed from the weathered lumber of an 1863 vintage barn; thus, Tabor Hill Winery was born. Tucked in the sloping hills of Southwest Michigan and overlooking the dunes of Lake Michigan, our location provides perfect growing conditions and an exceptional view to accompany your winery experience.

Today, with 55 acres of estate-grown grapes and 400 acres of local produce from our neighbor growers, we have expanded our output to more than 65,000 cases of wine annually. At the hands of our skilled winemaker Mike Merchant and his team, our quality production methods and wine continue to win many awards. Our Classic Demi-Sec, one of our most popular varieties, has been celebrated in the White House by many presidents and perennially is one of the top-selling wines of the Midwest.

Visitors of our winery can participate in tours of our winery, cellar, and vineyards and sample wine in our tasting bar. Our restaurant creates dishes that pair delectably with our wines, and we offer a full bar filled with brews and spirits as well.
