Top Ten Events in June

It's been a few years (actually, pre-covid) since we've done our top ten events. But, now that there is so much happening again, we've decided to bring it back! Some of the events are ours (we are biased), but there are also lots of other really good ones. We hope this helps you plan out your month.

June 2: Phillip Gulley, American Writer and Storyteller, Acorn Theater, Three Oaks, MI. Kick off June with an outing to Michigan. Enjoy a night of laugher and entertainment. This event is a fundraiser for Paws of Humanity. Head right next door to Journeyman/Staymaker for dinner and drinks. More info and tickets here.

June 3: Brew at the Zoo, Washington Park Zoo, Michigan City IN. This popular brew fest is back! Mingle with the animals while sipping brews, enjoying a hot dog and listening to live music. This is a fundraiser for the Michigan City Zoological Society and is a great way to get out amongst the animals for an adult evening. More info and tickets here.

June 8: Sunset Serenades at Marina Shores, Portage, IN. Missing live music at Trail Stop? Head to Marina Shores where the gang will be out to listen to Tommy Thompson sing some tunes. It's a great spot to have dinner, watch the boats and who knows...maybe we will all caravan down to Portage Lakefront for sunset when the music ends. Join facebook event here.

June 15: Beer Run & Walk at Tryon Farm, Michigan City, IN. It's time for the Dig the Dunes June run (and walk!). June 16: Songs and Stories from Cash on Cash, Miller Beach, IN. Stories about Johnny Cash interspersed with his songs with novelist and musician Robert Burke Warren. This will take place at 616 S. Lake Street in Miller and will be $20. Drinks are available next door. Learn more here.
